Liam lived a simple life in the same pattern, hide, get food, protect his sister, stay safe, stay sheltered. That was Liam’s life. However in a single moment, he loses everything that ever mattered to him, so he runs, he runs straight into John Perashing captain of the SkyHeart.
Ninety years ago the world was torn apart. After all that time it has finally begun to be rebuilt in the sky. John, the man responsible for this is terrified of losing what he built. When one of the few precious ground cities is burned down by monsters the world had thought long dead in The Fall, along with the rest of civilization. John is sent into a spiral racing around the world to try and end the bloodshed, and picking up an unexpected passenger along his way. This is the story of the airship SkyHeart.

Torn apart, beat up, rejected, & hunted by the Nation and AirHeart the SkyHeart and her crew is on the run from the government and people that once adored them. Without direction or a clue of where to go, the crew and John are left to wonder, losing hope.
But when they finally get a lead and start hunting the Leviathan one of the Six. Everything goes wrong. They are this close to losing everything at any moment and there will not be a second chance, so who do they turn to? Maybe it's the strangers, or enemies they find when they crash on their shores…

Liam and John travel northwards with the crew of the SkyHeart in search of a long dormant foe. But with AirHeart turned against them, the greatest danger might not be the cold of the artic, or the enemy they seek, but the danger of reaching the north in the first place.
